A Virginia Area practice is growing and seeks experienced Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hematology Oncology Physicians to join an integrated hospital system with several locations and a busy and productive cancer center. The clinical Hematologist Oncologist will be employed as a full-time/permanent physician (Accepting Visas Candidates!)   • We are looking for a matched team player with a favorable work/ training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality treatments, and be able to effectively partner with referring physicians and various local, regional and national healthcare organizations to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.
Our Practice
  • Strong support from administration and leadership
  • Seasoned nursing staff and chemo staff; Emergency protocols in place for ADRs
  • Mainly outpatient
  • Inpatient consults 24/7 availability, on-call MD
  • Staggering hours – some providers arrive earlier in the day one provider stays until 6PM
  • Opportunity for leadership role in practice
  • APP Oversight
  • Very competent clerical and support staff to include oncology navigators, clinical trials, social work, financial assistance for patients
  • Strong relationship with Radiation Oncology, surgeons, pathology, radiology
  • PET CT on site
  • Lab Services on site
  • Intensive onboarding program using the Varian documentation system, dragon dictation, electronic order entry.
Physician Compensation & Benefits
  • $700-$800K Total Compensation Package 1st Year
  • $550,000 Base Salary
  • Comp based on base salary, production, and quality incentives
  • $50K Sign-on Bonus!
  • 4-day work weeks (can be negotiated)
  • Call is 1:7
  • Relocation Assistance – up to $15K
  • Student loan reimbursement (max allowed half of total loan amount and not to exceed $120K payable over 6 years)
  • Paid malpractice insurance
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
  • MD or DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician’s primary specialty. Must be board-certified or in the process of certifying.
