Job Title: Global Manager Analytics & Insights – Biopharma/Biotech

A high-growth biotech company has a disruptive product portfolio that has added 6+ million users the last few years and experienced multiple years of double-digit growth. The wearable digital products provide real time monitoring of a chronic medical condition that affects over 10% of the US population. The market-leading products provide personal, actionable insights, are easy to use and reduce hospitalizations by up to 50%. They are scaling up their strategic marketing team and adding a newly created position focused on setting commercial strategy. This is a high visibility role on a team that’s known for innovative, bold product strategies.
The Opportunity
In this role you will use analytics and insights to evaluate and shape the global commercial strategy and direction across this business unit. Your business analytics approach will have a broad focus that will advise the highest leadership on the commercial team. This role focuses on creating strategy from ambiguity, so you’re someone who wants to work in ambiguity to solve business problems.
This is a broadly defined assignment that will provide insights across the business to optimize performance with a special focus on global forecasting. You will develop and communicate KPIs and strategic initiatives including data analysis, revenue forecasts and building models and dashboards from large data sets.
We need an expert who is strong in analytics skills who can also present and defend recommendations with executive level senior management. You will also work closely with cross-functional colleagues from other departments, including marketing, sales leadership, corporate development and finance.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of in the med tech/biopharma/healthcare space, including 5+ years of dedicated analytics work
• Experience with either in the industry or in management consulting
• Forecasting experience, global forecasting is a strong plus
• Strong executive presentation and influencing skills
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS in Statistics/Finance or similar preferred
A highly competitive base salary is provided, along with a yearly cash bonus, generous 401k match, and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary for this role is $125,000-$250,000.
This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area company HQ with an in-office workstyle. Financial assistance is available for relocation support.
